I am talking of the lights that are recessed int othe ceiling and appear quite nice..without a buld protruding from the walls....but I have heard these lights use immense amount of energy and if you do plan to install these...do make sure you can have the option of using leds inside.

they insulate your house even more. They keep the rooms cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. They save you on heating and cooling costs. They are a bit of a problem to clean, though. Even so, would you like double windows in your home?

Some experts say that the rooms that you are not using much in your home can be chosen not to be heated by closing the heating vents of these rooms. Have you tried this and did it make a large difference in the enrgy consumption and savings?

We have gotten both good and bad responses regarding the log home industry. It seems that we should use fewer paper tissues and towels, but the allure of a log home seems to transcend the arguement. What do you think?
