Have you ever turned in your car's battery for recycling. I just came across a website on this subject:

Did you know that TONS of olive pits are discarded each year. What do you think could be done to recycle them?

chris1203 asks:Recycling...Pillows?

Are there any ways that pillows can be recycled? I have a couple of pillows that I don't use anymore, but that I would hate to just throw away.

Do all the family do their bit, or is it left down to you. My other half has a very casual attitude to recycling. He'll throw a beer bottle in the glass box usually, but won't go to the trouble to separate plastic from paper for instance, or remove a label from a glass jar. He also uses up far too much kitchen paper, even though i've bought dozens of plain white dish cloths to use instead...

TerraMadreFoundation asks:Are all metals recyclable?

Copper, aluminum, steel, etc. But what about things like brass (copper and we think nickel) or platinum?

It's better to try and remove the labels off glass before you recycle, but I've tried everything I can think of to get the labels off, and no luck! Do you have a solution?

chris1203 asks:Dark bottles

I've just started recycling, and I've been told that I cannot include dark bottles. What's wrong with trying to recycle dark bottles?
