to eventually become a "wasteless" society? Do you think that we'll get to the point where no resource is wasted?

stavy asks:recycling

we've been asked in our neighbourhood to start separating ALL our rubbish, with separate bins for paper, plastics, clear glass, coloured glass, polystyrene, food... I pretty much do all that anyway, but some of my neighbours are complaining that there is way too much to do. Would you be happy to go to all that trouble or would you stop doing it al together and put everything in normal trash?

HereToday asks:Can you combine them?

If you are recycling "metal" cans, can you combine aluminum and steel in the same bin?

In our little town we have a free weekend to take any hazardous chemical to the dump ; we also have a Saturday where you can take all of your papers and have them shredded on the spot. Does your town do this? Should you think about trying to advance this idea?
