chris1203 asks:It's terrible

how our animals (to those of us that eat meat) and shot full of growth hormones to make them grow, rather than giving them the proper fodds with which to gain weight. Do you take this in consideration when you are deciding weather or not to buy organic foods?

We sometimes grow large amounts of strawberries and raspberries and end up with huge amounts that can't be used. we noe puree all the extra fruit in a smoothie maker and pour it into plastic freezer bags and stack it in the freezer. We've found thst defrosting and adding a little water makes lovely fresh fruit juice drinks... Any other ideas?
