We are fortunate enough to live near a light rail station, and haven't experienced any problems, but many folks protested light rail near their homes. In other words, mass transit is good, just not in their neighborhoods.

To move more people further, faster, and using fewer fossil fuels, there has been talk of high speed trains, or "Bullet Trains" being built across the country.

If you knew one of these was going to be built near your neighborhood, would you accept its being built, or would you protest against its location?

all polititians should universally accept the facts and concerns regarding the environemt and work for the benefit of the whole world. Is it right to then debate over issues like global warming, climate change etc. and waste time debating rather than doing something positive in an unified way?

I am a bit nervous about the switch to digital.
I heard that someone found a microphone and small camera in a digital converter box they purchased.

Could the government be requiring the switch to digital so that it can spy on us?
