I just noticed almost 90% of members of QV are females. So are we more concerned about the environment than our male counterparts...:)

As the risk of irritating the females
Most of these issues, particularly global warming are emotionally driven issues. They lack valid science to back them up so they are forced to appeal to emotions. Women are generally more emotional than men.
