ACCER asks:Pet Care

Have you changed anything regarding pet care to be more environmentally friendly? Things like Flea and tick remedies or even shampoo and conditioner?

Not really.

But then my pampered pooches didn't have any issues needing changed. We have always used herbal remedies for pests and are careful with their shampoos.

What a great question, ACCER. Unfortunately, I have never thought about environmentally friendly pet care, so I have not implenented any changes. I will be aware of it now.

They Like It Even Better!

We only buy our pusses organic catnip these days. I don't think there is any difference in potency between non- and organic types, but the kitties definitely get sillier on the new catnip.

Organic catnip?

OH my God, I didn't realize that there was such a product as organic catnip. That's interesting.

Supporting Free Enterprise

One of the boys in the neighbourhood has decided to do a dog-washing service after school lets out. His parents are very pro-environment, so I know the right kind of products will be used. No gas used driving to the groomer's, the price is right, and I don't have to do it myself!

Biodegradable Poop Bags!

I saw some biodegradable, environmentally-friendly bags for picking up your dog's poop when out and about. I thought it was a really good idea and made me think about something I didn't before. What's the point of putting something biodegradable inside something that isn't!
