sarahlorrain asks:Reducing unwanted mail?

How would one go about reducing unwanted mail, like getting off of the mailing lists credit card companies use to send out unsolicited offers, which waste a bunch of paper?

You could try and return to sender...

Just put on the envelope that you've moved that might get them to stop sending them out... it's worth a try.

Put up a no flyer sign

It works here in Canada... if you put up a noflyer sign they usually don't put them in... also get to know your mailman and just ask.

Junk Mail Link

There is a place online that gives you an address of a place where you can send a card (or an email) and that eliminates a lot of junk mail.

MPS .......

Mail Protection Service over here.

You register, and all the junk mail companines have to remove you from their lists. Failure to comply leaves them open to court action.

You can do it for telemarketing types too.
