all polititians should universally accept the facts and concerns regarding the environemt and work for the benefit of the whole world. Is it right to then debate over issues like global warming, climate change etc. and waste time debating rather than doing something positive in an unified way?

Debate is necessary
I understand for YOU there seems to be nothing to debate. But the question on climate change has not be settled. A great deal depends on determining how much is human impact, how much is naturally taking place and what, if any, steps can or should be taken to deal with it.
