  • I really believe that leading by example is the key, you can show them the path but if you go and do the opposite of what you're preaching then that doesn't do anyone any good :)

  • Good point, however I still think that energy is #1 priority... we can find better ways to deal with garbage... this always gets me thinking how everything comes from the ground yet when we process stuff it makes it bad to put back in the ground...

  • I hope so, there is a lot to be said for collaboration between EVERYONE to save the environment... places like China and India have to realize that by now... when the water level rises they're not immune to their cities going under water too..

  • You can grow them all year round? Do you have to use lamps or anything? I'e always grown tomatoes on the balcony but it's interesting that you grow them all year round... anything else that's different when you're growing them inside?

  • I would also suggest looking online but do a local search so you're not importing anything from outside your country and growing your carbon foot print.

  • I never looked into it but what's the main source of energy... meat is my main source everything else is optional... I couldn't imagine not having meat with my dinner....

  • You can't say either way.... humans were responsible for the hole in the ozone layer and by doing something about it they were able to fix it within a 20 year period so you can't totally dismiss that humans aren't having an affect on he environment

  • I've been growing them on the balcony in the summer... two big long trays of soil did the trick... got about 6 plants in there :)

  • I totally agree... just look at how much your weight changes between summer and winter... I have big swings because I can't get out in the winter as much to exercise.
  • totally agree.. plus you'll see 10-15 years from now anyone who hasn't gone green will go bankrupt meaning they HAVE to go green

  • good point... but that stuff could be recycled or composted... burning anything will produce carbon in the air and that's not good for anyone.
