depot near them? our local recycling centre has opened a section where clothing and textiles can be brought in, that is then passed on to charities for distribution in third world countries..

I have got crates of old videos. I don't know what to do with them. I tried selling them off in a garage type sale, for pennies but nobody wanted them. I offered them to three local charity shops who refused them saying they couldn't sell them. I don't want to just throw them away. Any ideas?

Are there any risks to human health from recycled products? This is a subject that I have not read too much about.

We all know by now that there are lots of uses for coffee grounds... but is there any way to recycle teabags too? I use an awful lot of those!

Does any of you have any idea of recycling old ball pens, that are generally sealed and a refill cannot be put once the pen's ink is finished.

In the current town I live in, there's next to no recycling options. There's a tiny aluminum recycling center, but if I want to do anything with my plastic bottles or paper, I have to come up with ways myself or travel at least an hour or two away.

In other areas I've been, there were recycling drop-offs in multiple places....and there were always containers at various shops, just like trashcans, but for bottles, cans, etc.

So how accessible is recycling in your area?

If you believe the basic tenet that God created earth and everything on it in seven days.. why do you worry about the environment? suely God will just come fix it if we break it?

For example, using newspaper in gardens to aid in weed control? Does anyone have any other ideas on ways to reuse items like tin cans, milk cartons, etc?
