all these things can be recycled and reused TMF. THere are tiny amounts of precious metal for instance in all computers.. Gold, Silver and Palladium, and wit the right resources these tiny amounts can be recovered and then re-used.. according to an article i found, $7 worth of gold silver and palladium can be recovered from a standard 486 pc... consider how many pcs get hrown away every year..
