My lifestlye seems hard on my nylons and tights. Yes, I know that nylon is not eco-friendly, but I do need to wear them on certain occasions because of the nature of my job. I do seem to go through them, literally, quite often. Can any part of them be recycled in any useful way?

Recycling hose and tights.....

With tights and pantyhose, where one leg has a run in it, you can cut the ruined leg off and use it with another half pair.

I haven't see many crafte projects that use recycled hose or tights, but a good place to find ideas is Instructables.com.

Use for craft projects or wipers

you can cut the tights to small cloth pieces and use them as wipers for kids blackboards, or as dusters. You can also sew different colr patterns together to make a table cloth, cover or anything unique, if you are the arty kind, use your skills to make patch work patterns and display it proudly....around your home.

Ripped Tights

Well, if the rip is covered by your skirt or dress, the way to stop the rip from getting any bigger, for the day anyway, is to put some fingernail polish on both ends of the rip. It may get you through the day. As for as reusing them, I don't have any ideas. Sorry.
